SARAH HUNTER | PERSONAL TRAINER & CYCLE COACH IN Margaret River

I love to help people get to that potential they don’t even realise they have within themselves. Making the impossible become possible gives me the best buzz.

WHO IS SARAH HUNTER?

Sarah is a qualified personal trainer and triathlon coach. She moved to Australia 16 years ago with her husband and hasn’t looked backed since. The outdoor lifestyle has suited them both to a tee and in their spare time they can be found surfing or windsurfing during the summer and mountain biking and snowboarding in the winter. They have been to Morocco, Hawaii, Ireland and Indonesia in their search for wind and waves.

She has been riding bikes since her first bike when she was 5 years old, this joy of two wheels continued into BMXing and then mountain biking.

Sarah entered the world of triathlon in 2010 via a rather unusual route of her first race being the Busselton Ironman. She completed that with a huge smile and then moved on to racing mountain bikes, and most recently qualifying for the UCI Time Trial World championships, which was held in Perth in Sept 2016.

Four weeks after that she won the State and National Duathlon Championships (Age Group) and qualified for the world championship in Canada in August 2017.

Sarah placed 5th at the Duathlon Age group World Championships, in a close fought battle there was 1 minute separating 1st – 5th places.

She has an addiction to buying socks (cycling socks), which luckily for her husband is much cheaper than a handbag or shoe habit. She also loves cooking culinary delights with her second favourite possession – a Thermomix.

Sarah writes for Bicycling Australia magazine, contributing articles on strength training for cyclists.
She is also a Performance Cycle coach for FTP Training, under the guidance of super head coach Mark Fenner who has  been awarded Mountain Bike Coach of the year for the second year running.

Sarah loves helping clients to achieve their potential, making them stronger so they can continue to do what they love – be it triathlon, cycling, running, surfing or just life.

WHY HAVE A PERSONAL TRAINER?

Choosing to work out with a personal trainer isn’t just about increasing fitness. It’s about improving your overall quality of life. If you’re working out properly, you’re healthier, sleeping better, have more energy and less stress and are able to perform better.

What should I do? How long for? Which exercises when? How much recovery? A personal trainer gives you answers to these and more, so all you have to do is focus on stepping through the door and working out!

Helping you get better every day. That’s what we are all about. So get in and lets make it happen.

Even a coach needs a coach. I have a coach and a strength & conditioning mentor. I learn from both of them every week.
They keep me focused, accountable and involved in the journey not just the goal.
